Filtered Deluxe Recordings reached out to some friends and favorite producers with the concept for a series of remix EPs that completely reimagine the music of Stereo 77 into dynamic, far-out, and forward-thinking compositions.

To kick things off, we invite the Washington, DC collective and extended family, the Empresarios (Empresarios Musica) www.empresariosmusic.com
as they give ‘Come Up Steppin’ their signature, dub-tinged “Tropicaliente” sound. Pool or beachside house vibes in full effect!

Next is Honest Lee (Growroom Productions / DC) growroom.bandcamp.com
with a psych-rock inspired, funky breakbeat take on ‘Consider Time/FS’. This remix has a groove that we can’t resist! Funky guitars, trippy vocals and effects, with dusty beats guaranteed to rock your mind.

Bringing this remix EP to a close, is the Avant-garde future bass of newcomer Kurt Rambus (Blacksuade Radio / FL) instagram.com/kurt_rambus
